UK DD and E are different steps. In this convention, UK DD corresponds to US DD and EU E; UK E corresponds to US DDD and EU F. Some American brands use E or F differently, so check their own chart before ordering.
UK to US bra size conversion examples
UK and US band numbers are the same in this tool, but cup lettering diverges above DD. For example, UK 34E becomes US 34DDD, not US 34E.

International equivalents relabel the same starting size. Sister sizes change the band while keeping approximately the same cup volume: in UK labels, 32DD ↔ 34D ↔ 36C. Shape and support can still change.

Can I find my size from measurements here?
These tables convert labels you already know. If you have underbust and bust measurements instead, use the two- or six-measurement calculator. The illustrated measuring guide explains tape placement and inches/cm input.
Does a D cup mean the same volume in every band?
No. A cup letter is tied to its band. A 32D and a 38D are not the same cup volume. Convert the complete band-and-cup label rather than the letter alone.
Are EU and French sizes interchangeable?
In this table, their cup sequence matches, but the French band label is 15 higher: EU 75F corresponds to FR 90F. Retailers may label markets differently; check the system they use.
What if my label says US E, US F or a half cup?
Check that brand’s chart. This tool deliberately does not guess ambiguous US E/F labels or proprietary half cups. It also does not convert Japanese, Italian or S/M/L sizing.
Will an equivalent size fit in every brand?
No. Fabric stretch, wire shape, cup depth and the brand’s grading all affect fit. Compare the retailer’s chart and then check the actual bra. Our calculator and fit checklist can help you plan what to try next.

These tables are generated from the calculator’s shared label-conversion rules: UK / US bands 26–60 and cup steps AA–UK MM. EU / FR entries follow those cup steps, not an independent 2 cm cup formula or EN 13402 body-measurement standard.
